1. Sail West
Number one on the water sport events to look forward to this year is Sail West. Hosted at the Gimli Yacht Club, this event promises to thrill and excite in equal measure. Sailing teams are already preparing for the event that will take place between July 31st and August 3rd this year. If you are a sailing competition enthusiast, you cannot afford to miss this event. Come and witness as the best local and international teams compete at the club that has been a host to international championships before.
2. Youth Championships
The future of sailing teams in Canada and around the world will be on display at the Youth Championships. Slated for the 27th to 30th of August, the finest raw sailing talent will converge at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club in Montreal. The event will offer an interesting look at which countries and teams will have the best teams in the years to follow. If you are enthusiastic about the new talent in the sailing world, this is the place to be in August.
3. Women Keelboat Championships
Running from October 14th, all through to the 18th, the Women Keelboat Championships will bring before us a fierce ignition of rivalries. Ranking as one of the top sailing events in Canada, this competition will go down at the Hudson Yacht Club in Hudson, Quebec. It will be among the sail events that wrap up the Sail Canada 2020 calendar.
